Mrs. Alline Hood Perry, 85, of Grenada, formerly of Carroll County, died of pneumonia June 4, 2001 at Grenada Lake Medical Center. She was a homemaker and a member of Bradford Chapel.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Lonnie Lee Perry Sr. and a son, Francis Perry.
Funeral services were held June 7 at Gamer-Harper Chapel in Grenada. Burial was at Calvary Cemetery in Carroll County with Rev. Truman Scarborough officiating.
Mrs. Perry is survived by three daughters, Susie Perry Myers of Jefferson, Mary Ruth Perry Turnipseed of Grenada, Dorothy Perry McDill of Sebastopol; four sons, Lonnie Lee Perry Jr., Jimmy E. Perry, Billy Roy Perry, Richard B. Perry, all of Grenada; three sisters, Grace Hood Clanton of Jackson, Jeanette Hood Parker of Calhoun City, Juanita Hood Dickey of Eupora; five brothers, Sterling Hood of Calhoun City, Quintin Hood of Dumas, Ark., Charles Hood of Vardaman, Wilbur Hood of Sushomish, Wash., Glen Earl Hood of Bellefontaine; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
Gamer-Harper Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
